Pusan National University has decided to extend the deadline for students to apply for either Summer School Session A or Session B. Students who want to join us in Busan this summer will have plenty of time to make preparations! Below are the new dates:
Exchange student nomination deadline for partner universities:
Session A: May 26, 2017
Session B: July 14, 2017
Deadline for students to submit their online applications:
Session A: May 26, 2017
Session B: July 14, 2017
Our partners have until May 26 and July 14 to submit their lists of nominated students, and those students have until those same dates to submit their online applications.

Greetings UC Davis Korean Graduate Student Association!
I am writing to you today to let you know about our very affordable summer school here at Pusan National University (PNU). Our university and city have been in the news a lot lately, and so we were hoping that this might have piqued your interest in Busan and PNU.
I am attaching some literature for you to review. I'd like to call your particular attention to the cost, which is cheaper than any other school in Korea. Seoul is a great city sure, but Busan is a summer town. We have several beautiful beaches, lovely mountains, and a very festive lineup of summer sun-and-surf activities (organized by both the city and our university). We are reaching out to Korean-American university student associations because we had hopes that you might have some special desire to see Korea. For less than $1,300, you can take a class, live on campus, eat Korean food, and participate in a variety of events sponsored by our summer school program (all included). If you want to spend one of your weekends visiting Seoul, we also offer a trip for a little extra, or you can venture there on your own. Additionally, we are a short ferry ride from Japan, so you can also easily travel there during your downtime.
